Born on March 27, 1963 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Quentin Tarantino took Hollywood by storm in 1992 for the hit “Reservoir Dogs” and further became known in 1994 for “Pulp Fiction” that earned him an Oscar Award for Best Screenplay. “Pulp Fiction” also revived the career of John Travolta. Appearing alongside Antonio Banderas in “Desperado,” Tarantino also entered a career in acting in 1995.

In 1996, he appeared in the movie From “Dusk ‘til Dawn” with George Clooney. 1997 marked another milestone in his career with the movie Jackie Brown starring Pam Grier. Tarantino, by Hollywood standards, can be named a breakthrough and also phenomenal.
